How is it managed?

If you do not have access to the guide or Jamf Pro portal, please log a ticket, access is granted when schools have completed enrolling Apple TV's into ASM, refer below on how to enrol Apple TV's.


How to enrol Apple TV's into Jamf Pro?

IT Staff will need to first confirm whether devices are in ASM already. This can be done by sending serial numbers of some ATVs in the school to your TSO or through a ServiceNow ticket. (Only one ATV per order needs to be sent through).

If devices are not in ASM but were purchased from ASI or CompNow, these can be added in by the suppliers.

If purchased elsewhere, these devices will need to be manually enrolled.

Refer to the below two guides on how to manually enrol Apple TV's

CSPD will also require a list of all Apple TVs at your school, that lists the Mac Address (WiFi or Ethernet, depending on how they are connected) Serial Number, and Name.

If schools do not have this currently, please use this sheet as a template. 


What else needs to be done?

Use the following form to allow CSPD ICT to support unassigning Apple TVs from an MDM (Step 16 in the 4th Gen Apple TV guide and Step 20 in the 4K Guide).
