Adobe Creative Cloud

What is Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Systems that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional cloud services.

How do I use Adobe Creative Cloud

CSPD utilise an agreement made by CEnet, this CEnet agreement includes all the member dioceses and offers Adobe suite for a low cost. Currently we are in a 3 and half year agreement that will end in January 2022.

You can utilise the Creative Cloud suite by downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud application and installing required applications. These applications are the following:

Adobe Creative Cloud - User Sync

CSPD ICT has implemented the Adobe User Sync Tool. This tool allows ICT to sync all mapped users to Adobe, populate users into groups, and grant all school ICT staff admin permissions. This tool will ensure the user's accounts are correct in Adobe for federation from SSO.

The Adobe groups that will be populated are the AGEID_XXXX_X groups.

E.G. 2345_Year_7 or 2345_Staff.

Mapped groups

The AGEID-Class-20XX and AGEIDAllStaff groups in AD have been mapped to their corresponding group in Adobe. This will cover most school staff and students. Reminder: AGEID-Class-20XX and AGEIDAllStaff groups are automatically populated by our IDM system.

All AGEIDICTSupport groups have been mapped to be granted administrative access to your schools groups and product profiles.

A new AD group has been created under each school's OU, which will sync to Adobe, providing school ICT staff permission to add/remove members. This includes staff outside of the predefined groups (Such as casuals). The group is called "AGEIDAdobeSync".

The Adobe User Sync tool is scheduled to run once daily at around 1 am.
